Retail Risk and Compliance Control Department Retail Risk and Compliance Manager (Job ID: 2439) Responsibilities • To review and approve the rule logic and threshold settings in Fraud Monitoring System from both operation / control perspectives • To keep abreast of the emerging and current transactional fraud risk for enhancing the fraud monitoring controls • To work closely with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense for analyzing fraud transaction patterns to minimize losses • To work closely with Business Units in Personal Banking Division for identifying and minimizing fraud • To act on behalf of Personal Banking Division as central contact point with legal enforcement agents in relation to finance crime and criminal areas To take up ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor Requirements • University graduate or preferable over 5 years experience in banking sector cover the following: • Practical experience related to fraud risk management, detection, investigations and analytics; • Good analytical skills to detect current and emerging fraud trends; • Strong senses of risk control and management; • Knowledge of SAS software such as fraud monitoring system will absolutely be an advantage; • Good communication, analytical, and problem solving skills; • A good team player, mature, independent and able to work under pressure with positive working attitude; • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
