Purchasing Officer - The Bank of East Asia

Responsibilities: • To assist in processing purchase order, reviewing purchase order transactions and reporting of irregularities. • To assist in conducting quotation comparison and monitoring of inventory prices. • To communicate with vendors/buyers and follow up samples/products from development to shipment. • To follow up purchase orders with suppliers and ensure timely and quality delivery of inventories and accessories. • To monitor stock level and handle purchase coordination, including communication with internal departments and vendors. • To monitor the delivery schedule and ensure conformance to product specifications. • To perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: • Higher Diploma or above in Purchasing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related discipline. • Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience. • Mature, self-motivated, well-organized, accountable and able to work under pressure. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing. • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. • Require to work at the stationary/document warehouse if necessary.
