Investment Services Manager - Hang Seng Bank

Responsibilities: • Connect with various business and operating functions under Investment Products and Advisory Business Division (IVP) to facilitate the development and management of business strategies on various investment products (Investment Funds, Bonds, ELI/ ELN and FX related products). Be the gatekeeper of ongoing monitoring and regular review of the business model. • Assist team head to initiate and drive process changes to streamline and strengthen control on business strategy and distribution models. Ensure all policies and procedures are well in place and updated from time to time. • Connect with different stakeholders to strengthen corporate governance for IVP, ensure group alignment, local regulatory compliance, efficient deployment and transparent performance measurement and oversight risk governance framework for IVP. • Support the development of effective business risk analytics frameworks, proactively identify risk/ improvement areas on business governance and control. Collaborate closely with business units on ongoing business risk analytics development in view of changing business or market conditions, monitor business risk performance and provide forward looking insight on business risk management to management. • Assist to prepare presentation materials and minutes for management to be used in regular meetings, leadership events, off-site meetings, etc. Requirements • University Graduate in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines • Minimum 5 years of banking experience/securities services experience, with relevant exposure to fund operations/securities servicing/ compliance/ regulatory bodies/ risk management preferred • Knowledge of investment products such as investment funds, bonds, structure and FX related products and China connects initiatives (e.g. Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect) would be an advantage • Good project management skill • Strong business acumen, detail-oriented and possessing strong analytical skills • Good team-player with strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good multi-tasking skill with ability to prioritize the tasks and work under pressure • Proficiency in English, Chinese and Mandarin • Sound knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
